What it supports

Goals worth discussing clearly.

  • Unwanted professional tattoos
  • Amateur tattoo fading
  • Preparation for a cover-up
  • Selected cosmetic tattoo pigment

Tattoo-removal lasers deliver short pulses of light selected for the pigment. Fragmented ink is then processed gradually by the body between sessions.

Ink colour, depth, density, tattoo age, location, skin tone, scarring, immune response, and device wavelength all affect fading. Complete clearance cannot be guaranteed.

Your appointment

A considered process, step by step.

  1. 01

    Document

The tattoo, ink colours, skin tone, history, scarring, and goals are assessed.

  2. 02

    Test

A test spot and conservative starting settings may be used.

  3. 03

    Treat

Laser pulses target a defined section while cooling and comfort measures are used.

  4. 04

    Wait

The area heals and pigment clears gradually before the next session.

Who it may suit

Suitability depends on skin tone, tattoo pigment, scarring, location, immune health, medicines, pregnancy, tanning, and expectations.

02

How to prepare

Avoid tanning, protect the area from sun, disclose medicines and prior reactions, and do not treat active infection or broken skin.

03

Downtime & response

Redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, blistering, crusting, pigment change, texture change, and scarring are possible.

04

Aftercare

Keep the area clean and protected, use dressings or ointment only as directed, do not pick blisters or crusts, and avoid sun.

Consultation matters: A consultation is required to confirm suitability, treatment scope, expected downtime, and current pricing.

Your questions, answered

Laser Tattoo Removal FAQ.

01How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number. Professional density, colour, depth, location, and your body’s clearing response all matter.

02Can every ink colour be removed?

Different colours absorb different wavelengths, and some pigments respond poorly or can change colour.

03Will the tattoo disappear completely?

Complete clearance cannot be guaranteed. Some tattoos fade substantially while residual pigment or texture remains.

04How far apart are sessions?

Spacing is based on healing and pigment clearance. Treating too soon can increase risk without improving clearance.

05Can I fade a tattoo for a cover-up?

Yes, partial fading may be a goal. Bring your cover-up plan so the desired endpoint can be discussed.
